A Wheelchair

I see you sitting in a wheelchair,
Wondering how and why you are there.
A tear rolls from your eye.

You’re gonna walk. You’re gonna fly,
You’re gonna know the reason why
God created you, a chosen few,
To reveal Himself through you.

God is holding you.
He will pull you through,
Someday, through His Heaven’s door.
Heaven’s worth waiting for.

And He’ll wipe the tears from your eyes.
There will be no more pain, no more sorrow.
Look forward to God’s tomorrow
When He’ll make for you all things new.

Right now, believe, have faith. He’ll hold you,
And all your hopes and dreams will come true.
He’s here, right by your side
Remember, Heaven is forevermore
And when you, finally, walk through God’s door.
He’ll smile, and you’ll no longer cry.

You’re gonna walk. You’re gonna fly.
You’re gonna know the reason why
God created you, a chosen few
To reveal Himself through you.
